In-Person Art Inspection Service

Acting as your trusted envoy, we will travel anywhere in the world to perform in-person inspections to verify the authenticity and condition of artwork before any deal is finalized.

We bridge the gap between buyer and seller, confirming the artwork is as described and providing peace of mind for both parties. Throughout the process, we keep you updated via phone, text, or video call, ensuring you're informed in real time so you may proceed safely.

Our base fee is $899 for this service plus all reasonable travel expenses such as flights, hotel and meals. Fees may vary based on required distance traveled and time in destination.

Included in this service:

• Condition Assessment: Inspecting the artwork for any visible damage such as tears, cracks, fading, discoloration, or stains.
• Surface Evaluation: Examining the canvas, paper, or other materials for signs of wear, deterioration, or environmental damage (like exposure to humidity or light).
• Frame and Mounting Check: Evaluating the condition of the frame, mount, or backing to ensure it is secure and properly protecting the artwork.
• Authentication Verification: Reviewing any provenance or certification to verify the authenticity of the artwork.
• Restoration Needs: Identifying any areas that may require restoration or conservation to maintain or improve the artwork’s condition.
• Inspection Report: Providing a written report with findings, high-quality images, and recommendations for care or restoration if necessary.
